Joyce is an intercultural business learning and development consultant, coach and facilitator, specialising in leading effectively across cultures. She has an MA in Chinese and Japanese studies and over 20 years global business experience, living and working in countries such as Thailand, China, Japan and Singapore. Joyce is currently studying for an MA in Intercultural Communication.

Adrian Pilbeam
Vice President and Secretary
Adrian has worked for over 30 years in the area of international communication, as a trainer, consultant, writer of training materials and trainer trainer. He has lived and worked in France, Portugal, Belgium and Spain, and runs his own training and consulting company LTS training and Consulting, based in Bath. Adrian sees his primary role at SIETAR UK as an ambassador to convince trainers and would-be trainers of the benefits of being part of the SIETAR network both in terms of what they can learn and what they can share with others.

Agnes Bamford
Director of Professional Development
Agnes is an experienced intercultural business coach, trainer and facilitator, with a Norwegian and South-African background. She is regularly leads workshops at the Norwegian School of Economics and is a Board member of the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce. Agnes holds an MSc in business administration and has qualifications in comparative politics, psychology and teaching. She is licensed to deliver The International Profiler (TIP) and International Preferences Indicator (IPI) from Worldwork.

Luana heads up social media & organic community development at a disruptive market research global start-up. She manages an ever growing team of 25+ community managers around the world and loves every bit of learning about the intercultural world from people's real lives! She holds a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Intercultural Communication and is always looking out for ways to keep learning, be it a different language or how to code.

Director of Communications
Johanna is an international communications and change management consultant with a deep interest in everything intercultural. She leads the multicultural employee community at Willis Towers Watson for 4,600 colleagues in the UK with a clear focus on celebrating cultures in the workplace. Johanna holds an MSc with distinction in Intercultural Business Communication from Edinburgh Napier University and speaks five languages – guess which ones.

Cathy Wellings
Director of Corporate Relations
Cathy is the Director of the London School of International Communication and an experienced intercultural and communication skills trainer and executive coach. She originally taught English in France, Spain and the UK in companies, universities and private language schools, and has worked in the field of intercultural training since 2003. Cathy has worked within training consultancies where she has developed courses, managed trainers and worked closely with global clients.

Ciaran is an intercultural trainer and consultant specialising in culture shock, faith in the workplace and conflict mediation. He has over 10 years of experience in the Higher Education sector and is a MA Intercultural Communication graduate. He is currently involved in grassroots level community work which focuses primarily on community cohesion, interfaith dialogue and cross-cultural engagement.

Dr Katharina Lefringhausen
Director of Research & Academic Relations
Katharina is an Assistant Professor at the University of Warwick in Applied Linguistics with experience in intercultural training and development. Her research interests focus on the acculturation of host community nationals towards multicultural societies, Universities and workplaces. She has an MSc and PhD in Cross-Cultural Psychology and has worked in the USA, Belgium, Germany and the UK.
