If you are a student of any academic intercultural course in the UK, and fulfil the eligibility conditions* you can benefit from the following opportunities:
Share your ideas with SIETAR UK
(Aimed at PG/PhD students)
Are you a postgraduate or PhD student within the intercultural field who wishes to share their brilliant fresh insights, research outcomes, and experiences? Then provide us with a blog post about your dissertation/thesis topic or a theoretical framework you have read about in your studies. The blog post may also display your University and PG/PhD program name in which you are currently enrolled. Not only will this raise your profile and that of your programme and university in the intercultural practitioner world, but also spread your ideas to make an actual impact on current knowledge and practices.
All contributors will be part of a raffle, with the three winners being invited to a SIETAR event to present their topic in the form of a 15-minute presentation. This will include an optional TED style presentation skill training by Dr. Katharina Lefringhausen. To do so, please send your article to firstname.lastname@example.org with a subject line STUDENT BLOG by 30 March 2018. The presentations day will be announced in 2019.
Research opportunities with SIETAR UK – Event/End of February (date TBC)
(Aimed at PG/PhD students and researchers and practitioners)
Are you a postgraduate student or researcher within the intercultural field who needs some research ideas or data access? Then join our networking event to guage research possibilities. This will be combined with a “Pairing-Wall”, where intercultural practitioners can pose questions or indicate their interest in providing access to data (e.g., recording a training session or being interviewed) which students and researchers can pick up on.
For more event details, please follow us on Twitter and Facebook where date and location will be announced in due course. This event will be free to all SIETAR UK members, with a paid access to non-members.
Impact Pathways through SIETAR UK
(Aimed at PhD students and researchers/universities)

Either in the form of a workshop, webinar, blog post or by sharing your developed tools and instruments on our website, we can provide a trackable impact pathway for your research outputs.
If you wish to explore these opportunities, please get in contact with Dr Katharina Lefringhausen, Director of Research & Academic Relations, at K.Lefringhausen@warwick.ac.uk.
